Bart Simpson



 Bart Simson is a 10 years old character from TV series "The Simsons". The Simsons family consists of Homer Simpson (Bart's father), Marge Simpson (Bart's mother) and two Bart's younger sisters: Lisa and Maggie Simson.


 The birth date of Bart Simson is a bit unclear, because he is always shown as a ten years old boy. According to the available sources he was born on April 1 (April Fool's Day) in early 1980's. Because it is clear that Bart's younger sister Lisa Simson was born during the Summer Olympics in year 1984, so we can place Bart Simson's birth in year 1980 or 1981.


 Bart Simson has a lot of hobbies, as for example comic books (the favorite one is "The Radioactive Man") and skateboarding. He spends a lot of time writing lines on the blackboard at his school, as a result of socially not approved behavior and disrupting the normal routines at Springfield Elementary School.  Although the social behavior of Bart Simson is unacceptable, it would be unfair to say that he is just stupid. In certain circumstances he appears to be quite smart guy. In fact (and despite of differences) Bart is similar to his stupid and lazy father Homer Simson.


 Bart Simson's everyday wear is quite standard: orange t-shirt, training shoes, blue shorts and white socks. He looks a bit more elegant each Sunday in the church, where he goes dressed in two-piece blue suit.


 According to the standards existing in civilized countries, it can be said that Simsons' house is not quite normal, the family is rather pathologic than standard. Bart is often a victim of the family violence when he is strangled by his father outraged with the bad and stupid things done by Bart. "The Simsons" TV series illustrates a crisis of family, authority and traditional values - being the real problem in United States and Europe.
