Homer Simpson



Homer Simpson is a character featuring in animated television series "The Simpsons". He is a husband of Marge Simpson, father of Bart Simpson and two younger daughters: Lisa and Maggie Simson. The shortest characteristics of Homer Simpson can be expressed in three words: lazy, stupid moron.


 Although Homer Simson looks rather old, the available data shows that he is somewhere between 36 and 39 years old. In one of the episodes he gets the quiz result that he will die in the age of 42. The different episodes were giving the different Homer's birth dates, varying between March 1955 and May 1956. His astrological sign is Taurus, that is why the birth date in March is less probable.


 The education of Homer Simson was not very fluent. He graduated the school despite of non passed Remedial Science. During his education he avoided activities and sports. After completing the Remedial Science he entered the Springfield University. He graduated just due to counterfeited grades. Later Homer Simson extended his education attending the Clowns College, Bodyguards School and others.


 Homer Simson is employed in Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. It is a perfect job for a lazy moron, because the main part of it is dozing and eating doughnuts. In the afternoons he spends a lot of time in Moe's Tavern, together with his friends.


 The family relationships within the Homer Simson's house are not quite normal. He often uses violence (especially strangling) towards his oldest child Bart Simpson. Yelling and strangling is the standard reaction after discovering of Bart's bad and stupid behavior.


 The mental abilities of Homer Simson are limited not only due to poor education. The other reasons are: wax crayon in the front lobe of his brain (result of the childhood) and Simsons' family stupidity gene, determining that almost all the Simsons family members are underachievers. The "holes" in Mister Simson's knowledge are really vast, he is even not aware of the origin of his first name.


 Homer Simson has problems with law from time to time. In the TV series he was arrested several times. The offenses were: drunk-driving, speeding, parking on the handicap place, attempting murder, tax fraud and grand theft auto. He was being imprisoned on three different continents.
